Silverstone – Rounds 6 and 7

Following on from a very successful weekend at Brands Hatch, Josh had his sights firmly set on extending his championship lead. This time he will be taking on the challenge, racing on the world-famous Silverstone GP circuit, as part of the British GT paddock. Josh and Xentek Motorsport got to grips with the circuit very quickly on the Friday test day, ready for what the qualifying and races had to offer.

In Qualifying, Josh was pushing the car to its limits straight away, but due to a massive amount of traffic while trying to utilise a slip stream, Josh completed qualifying in fifth for Race 1 and in second for Race 2.

During Race 1, Josh enjoyed some great battles throughout the race when charging through to the front pack against his main championship rivals. Josh took the lead halfway in to the race, and then the race finished due to a red flag. Another win for Josh and more championship points!

After the success from Race 1, Josh was aiming to perform in suit with another win, this time starting in second place for the final race of the weekend. Once again some more fantastic battles throughout the race, swapping positions each lap until reaching the chequered flag. Josh finished the race in a strong second place. Overall a great performance and a strong weekend for the championship.

The championship battle continues in 2 weeks time at Donington Park, where Josh picked up his first podium in the championship at the end of 2019!
