Silverstone National

What was looking to be a very promising race weekend slipped through Josh’s fingers during testing. Thursday testing Josh was one of the fastest throughout the day in all conditions. Until Friday morning arose when the engine blew up, meaning we could not do anymore testing that day. Thanks to Ginetta the team were able to borrow an engine for the remainder of the weekend, but it was not that easy. Qualifying on Saturday Josh had more issues with the car, leading to a very frustrating p.13 for race 1 and p.16 for race 2. In Race 1 Josh battled his way through the pack, but only managed to work his way up to P.8. Race 2 being a similar scenario, even more cars to get past, but Josh managed to finish a respectable P.7.

Overall, the weekend did not go to plan for Josh. With things going wrong that was not in Josh’s control, but that is racing. Looking ahead now for what there is in store for next season.
