This weekend was Josh’s first experience racing on a BTCC race weekend. The paddock was hectic, but didn’t add any pressure on Josh. Unfortunately, with the lack of Friday testing really didn’t help the balance of the car. Pushing as hard as he could to the cars ability just wasn’t enough, qualifying p.19 for race 1 and qualifying p.18 for race 2 due to lap times disallowed.
In race 1 Josh got a great start and slithered through the field and got up to p.8 until being hit off and dropping back down to p.13. Onto race 2 starting p.18, another great start from josh making places up once again. But once Josh reached p.11 the front pack had gotten away so all he could do is nurse the tyres home for another weekends use. Not a good weekend at all for Josh but looking ahead now towards donington park once again where Josh is very confident.
